About

Born and raised in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains I was lucky enough to be introduced to downhill skiing at a very young age. At age 15 I left the comforts of my alpine bindings and began to explore the sport of telemark skiing. It wasn’t all easy and I definitely have the scars to tell, but the challenge kept me coming back for more. I honed my skills shredding the Wasatch and in telemark freeskiing competitions, placing in the top 5 multiple times. More importantly by continually challenging myself climbing and skiing in ranges much much bigger and badder than the mild and “user-friendly” little range I love so much, the Wasatch.   Skiing and climbing in the Cordillera Blanca range of Peru, Patagonia, the Chilkat and Chugach ranges of Alaska and the Tetons.  I am truly lucky to have the support of family, friends and sponsors which allows me to pursue my passion and push big mountain freeheel skiing to a new level. I plan to continue to do so as long as possible.
